We naturally embrace others – we are naturally empathetic...but we are also naturally suspicious of anything or anyone unfamiliar, an inbred survival instinct that has ensured our safety and protected us from “the other” since the dawn of time.
Currently, believers in an insular and intolerant world are increasing in influence.
We need to concentrate on encouraging tolerance: mixing people of vastly different backgrounds and lifestyles in new experiences that will open minds, provide a new way of looking at things, and engender in a way more liberal and open attitudes.
Developing and seeding tolerance is a journey, not a single act.
NOMAD.25 kick-offs this journey in young people – to create a vibrant, tolerant community, locally and internationally. Starting young for a solid foundation of tolerance, which will prevail through even the stormiest weather.
In essence, NOMAD.25 is a community. A community nurtured from our “tolerance adventure experience” – a 5-day encounter in our special “in-nature” camp.
A 100% sustainable “off the grid” camp to transform nature’s “Standing in Awe” moments into significant activity toward tolerance.
NOMAD.25 will choose local young people ensuring a cohort of diversify. Participation in NOMAD.25 is subsidized by corporates and local government that want to associate with and join this exceptional journey.
Graduates of the NOMAD.25 experience, will join and strengthen existing national tolerance programs with which we are in contact, creating illuminating beams of tolerance for their surroundings.
NOMAD.25 camp and activities will be franchised to other regions around the world to create even more diversified inter-regional networks of tolerance.
Our current seeding stage is mainly focused on working together to prepare and sharpen our vision to become fundable by the end of 2021. The core of the program is centered around developing both the experience and the off-grid in-nature camp, to be ready for our first class in 2025.
